Respect in Sport

Respect in Sport (RIS) for Parents is an online course that must be completed by at least one parent. It is required to register for lacrosse. 

Respect in Sport for Parents certification is valid for four years and can be transferred if you have completed it for other sports (hockey, soccer).

Registration Fee Information

Foothills Lacrosse Association reviews fees annually and any increases are kept to a minimum, while ensuring the organization can cover any costs for the season.

Registration fees include, for example:

• Evaluations
• ALA fees (includes insurance)
• CDLA fees
• Floor times for regular games and playoffs
• Referees
• Floor times for practices
• Team photos and individual player pictures
• Equipment such as balls
• Jersey replacement
• Goalie equipment
• Coach shirts
• First aid supplies

Registration fees DO NOT include individual team expenses, such as tournament fees, team apparel purchases, equipment, or other team-related expenses.

Volunteer Bond

Each player has a required number of volunteer credits that must be fulfilled for each season. See the Volunteer Bonds page for more information.

2026 Registration Fees

Fees may be paid by Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, or Mastercard Debit.

Sibling Discount

Families that register multiple siblings (3 or more) will pay full registration for the first two children and subsequent registrations will receive a $100.00 discount per player in the same season.
